'“We cannot direct the wind but we can adjust the sails”.

My Approach

I have a warm and conversational approach. I offer a confidential, safe, and compassionate space to support you while we work together exploring and gaining insights into your thoughts, feelings, and behavioural patterns.

I sit alongside you in the process and work at your pace. Each week sessions can be focussed on what you need support with or issues you wish to explore, we discuss what’s happening in the present and the past, or we can discuss something unexpected that has come up that week.

I have worked with individuals who have faced various difficult challenges including self-esteem, feelings of hopelessness, anxiety, bereavement, childhood trauma, motherhood & Post Natal Depression, neurodiversity, and life adjustments.

Mental health is no longer a societal taboo and now considered a priority in life. I have always had avid interest in how we have come to be the way we are.

I continue to learn and develop my theoretical and practical toolkit to be an effective and skilled Practitioner.

I receive regular clinical supervision to ensure you receive the best possible support. I have a Diploma in Counselling using Transactional Analysis, accredited by COSCA. I am registered with UKATA and EATA and adhere to their codes of ethics.
